Fall Schedule:

Monday – Friday AM: Masters/HS/Platinum @ 5:30-7AM. (HS and Platinum groups, talk with Dale.)

Monday-Friday & Sunday PM:

Swim School on Mon & Wed @ 5-6PM.

Bronze on Mon & Wed & Fr & Sunday @ 5- 6PM.

Silver on Tu & Th @ 5-6PM.

Silver on Wed & Sunday @ 6-7:30PM.

Gold/Platinum on Tu & We & Fr & Sunday @ 6-8PM.

Gold/Platinum on Th @ 7-9PM.

This gives Swim School 2 hours/week, Bronze I, II, III, one to three hours/week with 4 days to choose from. Silver group gets 5 hours/week. The Gold/Platinum groups get 10 hours weekly.

We will lose one Sunday each month for pool maintenance: these dates are as follows:

17 September

15 October

12 November

10 December

We can have a special Monday evening practice session on 16 October. Schedule will follow later.

SEPTEMBER

1. Registration: 6 & 7 Sep from 6-7PM in Saunders Field house. Do we have a room yet? Are our forms up to date? (with exception of final practice schedule).

2. Fall start date: Monday, 11 Sep.

3. 11 Sep – 30 Sep: stroke work.

4. Sunday water polo: 21 Sep – 5 Nov.

OCTOBER

5. *tentative* Rookie Developmental Meet on Saturday, 28 Oct.

NOVEMBER

6. Montrose Fall Open: 4-5 Nov

8. Thanksgiving Break: Th & Fr, 26 & 27

DECEMBER

9. NJ Open: 1-3 Dec.

10. Holiday Break: Sat, 23 Dec to 8 Jan 07.

Holiday training: 23 Dec-5 Jan

Welcome back Dolphin families! I hope you enjoyed our August break. We are starting a new fundraiser this fall – Bingo! We are running a session every Tues. at 5:30 p.m. at Junction Bingo, please try to be on time. There are 9 teams that run Bingo on a 9 week rotation. The teams and schedule are on the website (www.grandjunctiondolphins.com). Please be sure to check the schedule and attend on your scheduled night. If we don’t have enough people to run a session, we still have to pay for the hall. If you have not been contacted to be on a Bingo team, please contact Lee or Susan Young (see below). I cannot stress strongly enough the importance of fund raising to our growing non-profit organization. Let’s all have fun with this fundraiser!!

Please welcome new board members Karen and Bob Kelley. Their son, Ryan, is 15 and has been swimming with the Dolphins for several years. He also swims for GJHS.

I’d also like to introduce returning board members. Please feel free to contact any board member with questions or concerns. Board meetings are the second Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at Bray and Co. Real Estate. Board meetings are open to all Dolphin families. Communication is the key component of any successful organization!!
